There was fun for all ages at the Fun Night hosted by the Active People, Healthy Brainard Committee on July 30. About 50 people attended the event. The evening began with kids of all ages playing Gaga Ball and disc golf. Hot dogs, chips, and water were served after the games were over. Unfortunately, we were unable to swim due to the weather. Still to come are soccer goals, bike repair stations, a pickle ball court, and basketball and volleyball nets for the pool. All of these items were provided by a grant from Four Corners Health Department for the Village of Brainard. A total of $15,000 was awarded to the village. The goal of the grant is to increase activity in our youth. If you are interested in any of these activities, you may check out discs or balls at City Hall M-F, from 8:30-3:30 at no cost.
