The East Butler Public School District was established in 1961 with the consolidation of the Brainard, Dwight, and Loma school districts. The district has grown over the years and in 2010 the Prague School District merged with East Bulter. The school has an enrollment of approximately 320 students and serves portions of Butler, Saunders, and Seward counties. The school is staffed with quality administrators, teachers, and supporting personnel and has excellent facilities in Brainard and Dwight. East Butler provides an extensive curriculum and gives students the opportunity to participate in many extracurricular activities. East Butler is served by Educational Service Unit 7.
