New signs have been placed at two sites at Timber Point Lake which is managed by the Lower Platte South NRD. The signs show the the hiking route through the recreation area. The first sign is near the bathrooms at the north entrance and the second sign is at the trailhead at the south entrance of Timber Point. People are encouraged to use the scenic hiking trail which is 3.2 miles long. The signs were purchased from funds provided by the Healthy People, Active Brainard grant awarded from Four Corners Health Department.
